He is just that into me, but im not.?

So there is this guy we have only hung out once and he came on way too strong (he said he loved me ect.) and we never officially dated, so i told him i didnt really feel the same way and asked to just be freinds cuz im not ready for that kind of relationship. He took it well and such until we saw eachother at a event with our mutual freinds and now he texts me freind stuff about how sad he is i wont give him a chance. Thing is, call me shallow but i was never physically attracted to him, and even though we kissed a couple times it was eh. But when he talks to my freind about stuff and plays 20 dirty questions with her, even if just as 'freinds', i get crazy jelous. whats wrong with me?
